Interns: Join the SEED Programme

Salt is inviting students and researchers in computer science, robotics, artificial intelligence, cyber security, data science, data engineering, and web 3.0 technologies to apply to join the Salt SEED (Skill Enhancement & Employment Development) Programme.

A message from Sonja Coetzer, our MD:

"Salt believes in our role to create the next generation of entrepreneurs, start-ups, tech employees and technologists. The Salt Skill Enhancement and Employment Development programme is a new form of internship programme that takes only 10 SEEDlings at any given time.

Each SEEDling team will enter the scheduled programme for 12 weeks. The non-negotiable participation rules and regulations will be explained to each successful applicant in detail before acceptance into the programme. Only the top 3 of each SEEDling team will be considered for the Innovation Hub to be launched in 2023.

The SEED programme will focus on technology-based functions such as Computer Science, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, Data Science, Data Engineering and WEB 3.0.

The program will exist of face-to-face training sessions with subject matter experts, tasks & challenges on a secure server environment and a final practical on a simulated environment on EVE-NG.

We look forward to continuously support the next generation of technologists that will successfully land 4IR / 5IR / 6IR technology – to deliver education and health, to create employment opportunities, to contribute towards a growing economy.

Above all, we want to help create opportunities to retain brilliant skills for Namibia by Namibians."
